The Green Mountain Coders met weekly to work on Scratch Programming Competitions through the CS2N program at Carnegie Mellon. The team wrote programs to meet two challenges. In both cases, the team integrated the following into their submissions:
1) an original story with characters and dialogue
2) original art work for costumes/backdrops and sprites
3) original music to set tone for scenes
4) original scratch coding to hold together the story, art and music
The team won two competitions.
The first was for an FLL team to share their solution on the Senior Solutions FLL event.
The second was for Energy Boss, which challenged teams to describe what they would do if they were in charge of the world’s energy.
